In drilling process,solids control equipments are necessary and indispensible.Jet Mud Mixer is one of them and it played a very importatnt role in the surface solids control process.TRSLH series drilling mud mixer is usually made of one sand pump and one jet mud hopper which are connected with manifold valve installed on a base. We not only produce the single mud mixer,but also we can make the double mud mixer.
Double mud mixer is usually made of two sand pumps and two mud hoppers which are all installed a common base. A double mud mixer equal with two single mud mixers.There are some differences between the single mud mixer and double one.
1.Transportation:Double mud mixer will be loaded on vehicle by one time,however the two single mud mixers be loaded twice.The equipments be installed on one base will be shipped more conveniently.
2.Usage:Double mud mixer will have better performance,which can be used as per user’s need.If the user only need the performance of one mud mixer,the double mud mixer can be closed one pump and one funnel, even if the one sand pump or one mud funnel is out work,the working procedure will not be stopped.

There are five main factors affecting the performance of jet mud mixer. The first is to try to decrease the hydraulic frictional losses of mixed funnel as far as possible; otherwise the treating capacity may be greatly reduced. The second is that the distance from nozzle to venturi tube should be proper, and the best efficient distance is 32 to 90 mm. Generally speaking, it is not more than 90 mm, otherwise barite charging speed will be significantly reduced. The third is that the back pressure of the outlet pipe should be moderate. Too much back pressure will reduce the treating capacity of hybrid funnel. The fourth is that the higher the inlet pressure is, the better the treating capacity of the mixing funnel is. The last is the higher the mixing funnel installed, that is, the higher the back pressure is, the mixing capacity will reduce.
In order to make the jet mud mixer and used more effectively, the following parts should be noticed.
1.Select the mixer suitable for drilling fluid system. In general, for most drilling equipment, a funnel is enough, and we always consider using a funnel of the capacity of 240m³/h.
2. Keep the distance between pipeline and funnel as short and straight as possible.
3. Use the new parts to reduce friction loss. Every time after working, use a clean liquid to rinse the entire system. Special attention should be paid to cleaning funnel inlets.
